Teenage Raver

She walks like Olivia Newton John
'Cause she still lives in 1981.
Her hair is thinning and her skin is slack
But she still dresses like she did way back.

Like in the youth club after school.

She goes to Tesco in a big blonde wig,
Looking like a fashion guinea pig.
Dirty dancing in between the aisles
And stops to rest because it hurts her piles.

Like in the youth club after school.

Leslie was a teenage raver, now she's fallen out of favour.
She still plays her Madness LP's, though she's almost in her sixties.

She's watching reruns of her favourite shows,
Arthur Daily and Allo Allo.
Living in the past is what she does
And she's well known to all the local fuzz.

Like in the youth club after school.

Blue lipstick is back in fashion.
